Advocates, the Muslim Bar Association of New York, and the New Jersey Muslim
Lawyers Association, in partnership with the Justice Action Center of New
York Law School, invite you to attend a Free Legal & Financial
Educational Seminar for the leadership of mosques, Muslim nonprofits and
community-based organizations in the NY/NJ metro area. The seminar
will be held on Saturday, March 6th from 8am to 6pm at New York Law School.
Issues
addressed in this FREE educational seminar will include:

• Best ways to send charity abroad
• Financial & accounting best
practices for nonprofits
• Charity accreditation through Muslim
Advocates/BBB
• FBI surveillance of mosques and
community centers
We encourage
imams, board members, presidents, executive directors, treasurers,
secretaries and other key officers and senior staff of New York, New Jersey
and Connecticut area mosques and community-based organizations to attend this
free seminar.
This program
will include a free
continental breakfast and halal lunch.
